She got accepted into 50 different Universities and received 17 scholarships in the US. Find out who…
Only those who honestly worked it through high school understands this feeling. You know that last year in secondary school, SS3 or Grade 12 as the students overseas may call it, it’s usually the most toughest. From writing college entrance exams to drafting application letters to various Universities. The last year in high school is usually the time you may get it all wrong. It only takes the determined and focused.
But Breonna challenged herself from the start of highschool year to write applications into 50 Universities and get accepted into them. That’s a big and long term goal to set. A lofty goal. A lay man may see it as setting up one’s self for disappointed, but Breonna knew what she wanted and went ahead to get it.
She worked all through her Grade 10 – Grade 12. Neglected the house parties and sleepovers to get this certificate. I have never seen hardwork not pay. Breonna revealed to her Insta followers yesterday, that she just received her 50th acceptance letter.
Ranging from John Hopkins University to Georgia State University to St. John’s University and Iowa State University. She got all their acceptances to become a member of their school. Now she better have options!
The Cherry on top is that she didn’t just get acceptances, she also received 17 different scholarships to study any course of her choice and is currently going viral for her good job. Once a rich education enthusiast gets hold of this news, they would ask the school of her choice to keep their money while they foot the bills.
Now Breonna have options. She may choose to study at Iowa or Georgia or even the famous John Hopkins. If I was her I’ll choose the one with better facilities, but it’s not me by the way. Let’s all learn to encourage our children to set goals and beat them.
